Chamaelobivia ‘Rose Quartz’ “Peanut Cactus”
Price: $5.00Sku: 0850687
Flowers are to 3" in diameter, rose-colored, and tinged with purple highlights. Not only is 'Rose Quartz' very appealing, but also very resistant to insects such as mealybugs, and to pathogens such as "soft rot." Requires porous cactus soil with adequate drainage. Prefers bright light and more temperate climates with good airflow. Becomes dormant in stifling summer heat, as the original Chamaecereus is native to mountainous regions of South America. Water thoroughly when soil is dry during active growing season. Protect from frost.
Part of what makes succulents so fascinating are the myriad ways they express themselves throughout the year, depending on light, season, temperature, soil, and hydration. For those and other reasons, the plants you receive may not look exactly as they appear on our website.
