DESCRIPTION

Senecio scaposus, native to South Africa, forms rosettes of long, finger-like silver leaves that appear as if they are “cobwebbed.” Silvery rosettes provide great accent for rock gardens. Member of the Aster family. Excellent on a frost-free bank or border or as an accent to rose-shaped succulents in a dish garden.

SURVIVE & THRIVE 

Recommended pairings: Kalanchoe luciae, Sedum rubrotinctum
Bloom time: Fall to winter
Size: To 4 inches tall 
Plant in porous, well-draining soil
Provide bright light and ample airflow
Water thoroughly when soil is completely dry to the touch
Hardiness: USDA Zone 10a (30-35° F)
